Additional five fire stations is aimed to accelerate fire handling in the capital
City Fire and Rescue Dept. has allocated budget for adding five new fire stations this year.
City Fire and Rescue Dept. Secretary, Sugeng Wiyono stated, currently, there have been 102 fire stations in each city area.

Each station is realized through APBD amounting to Rp 4-6 billion, depending on the area of land.
His dept. also continues to cooperate with locals for the development of self-help fire station. Until now, there are 13 fires stations made by the self-help community.
"Each station has one fire truck with five firefighters," he stated.
